The STARGAZER-4's ash body gives you an extra-resonant tone with crystal-clear highs, well-defined mids, and powerful lows. The figured maple top lets the Crimson Ghost finish really shine. A 34-inch scale bolt-on maple neck helps emphasize the body wood, and boasts a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. Mother of pearl block inlays complete the classic look. In the bridge position MMHZ is a passive pickup with a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. Featuring EMG's CS design (Ceramic and Steel), this has the punch and fullness of older passive designs with added brightness for a better-defined tone. The MMHZ is wired for both dual-coil and single-coil use, changed through the push/pull volume pot. The SJHZ pickup in the neck position features a stacked design, using ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core to increase output and lower noise. Adjust the master blend between the two pickups, and use the EMG Active 2-band EQ with selectable frequencies for further versatility, dialing in your tone just right for any application. The precision Tusq nut is made with Graph Tech's "man made ivory," which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and is impregnated with Teflon to improve the tuning performance of your guitar. so yeah i picked this baby up today!!! and my god! what a bass for the price! i have played many basses over the years, i tend to stick to musicmans and jazz basses. i saw this at guitar center and was like wow a that looks like an old rickenbacker so i had to play it. i plugged in and was blown away!!! so many different sounds u can get from this baby. its sounds like an ernieball just playing out the back pick up and threw the front it sounds like a rickenbacker. if that is what they were going for WELL PLAYED schecter! i traded in an old ernieball for this pretty much straight up. came with a hard case to! great bass for the price! i am not disappointed at all! cant wait to play this at our next show! highly recommend!!!! also rickenbackers look amazing!!!

I saw this bass at a guitar store and after playing it for a while I was determined to own it but was short on funds, I later found it on Amazon for a lot less so went ahead and made the purchase. Schecter Guitar Research makes great quality musical instruments at a descent price, the bass sounds and feels so good that you won't be disappointed. Aesthetically its a beautiful instrument in the Crimson Ghost color, but there are a lot of good looking guitars, but just wait till you play this one, it sounds even better than it looks. If you're not familar with Schecter then check out their product line, you'll get hooked.
