I bought these felt picks to use for my ukulele. At first, they're pretty tough and produce a sharp sound, but you really have to "break in" these picks. Now that I've used them for a couple of weeks, they produce a softer sound. Overall, these picks do what they're supposed to do.

I had always played ukulele with my fingers, but I thought it would be interesting to try a felt pick to see if there was a difference. I notice that, compared to my finger nail, the stiff felt picks make the uke louder. The flip side is that it sounds (to my ears)slightly harsher in tone. The picks are smaller than the oval ones I've seen, and easier to handle on a ukulele. They appear to be of good quality as well. Perhaps over time they will loosen up and the harshness will diminish. I don't regret buying them; it just adds a new dimension to the ukulele sound. The seller also sent the picks very quickly, which was great.

these picks are not bad at all. At first they sounded a bit rough, but overtime as you use them, they seem to sound softer and gentler then before. You just gotta break them in! i would recommend this (:

These picks are just the thing for a uke. guitar picks are too hard and unflexible. If you don't just use your fiingers, this is what you should have in your bag of tricks.

I was counting on one or two of them being softer, but these are the first felt picks I have purchased. The description does say 'Hard' Felt Picks, so I can't complain. They are what they are, and they work well.
