5Pound for Price CHAMP!!!  Sep 09, 2009 By J. Gray
Tried it out side by side with a Markbass cmd102p and a Genz Benz Shuttle 600 2x10. Amazing lows with articulate mids and highs sum this wee beastie up well. The tweeter is hissy but adjustable and frankly the only issue I have. I am no fan of most neo cabs but this is an exception. The GB is very cool but is rear ported and I lose some definition on the low end with it and it is twice the price. The tube section of the GB is fine but I did not miss it one bit compared to the GK head. The Markbass head is great by itself but the speakers are blurry on the bottom and their tweet hisses too. The VPF and VLF controlls on the Mark are killer tools if used right. Yet again the Mark is twice as much. The Mark head is a bit easier to dial in my sound but after a few extra minutes with the GK I was in heaven with the tone, every bit as thick and rich as the Mark. Between me and my bass buds we cover the gambit in styles and all agree the GK is almost to good to be true. Loud enough by itself to hang with a heavy hitting drummer and two guitards :) At half the price and lightest in the class it's a no brainer (which fits me).

5Fabulous!  Jan 19, 2010 By Stewart Bailey "Stew"
I had done a lot of research into replacing my Ashdown Mag 300 with something crisper and punchier that was still capable of dep resonant lows. Fortunately My replacement is the GK MB210.
This amp is amazing. Its tonal qualaties are second to non for an amp in this class (and a few more expensive options as well). You always know that your going to get a great tone with plenty of adjustment from Gallien Krueger but this little beauty exceeded all my expectations. As for the weight. GK you've saved my back.

If you buy this baby get it up on an adjustable tilting stand (Quicklock or Jammaster) and you'll be amazed at what it does for your sound.
Love it GK

5Great Sound  Dec 08, 2009 By Keith W. Battle
This combo is light and powerful with all the bells and whistles to dial in the tone you want. There is no need to lug around heavy equipment believing its a must or else your sound will be compromised. This unit also have the latest circuitry and DI/Speakon jacks to connect to your speaker cabinets or PA system.

5Worth Every Penny!  Aug 30, 2010 By Bluefish
I picked up this amp about 2 months ago and have nothing but impressed with it. I've gigged with it a few times now and the tone (classic GK) and overall presence is fantastic. I did also purchase the 115MBE (matching 15" extension cab) to use at larger venues and I'm convinced that it's all I'll ever need - a complete 500w bass stack for under 70 lbs! The weight of this amp is truly impressive but the amp still feels sturdy. If you're wondering if it can keep up with a band, don't. It can. My only concern is that the grille is aluminum and if it takes a hit it will dent. I'll probably pick up a cover just for a little added protection. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

5Best Bass Bang For Your Buck!  Jan 28, 2011 By Rockinroller "Rockinroller"
OK, what's the catch? You have an opportunity to buy a 500watt, twin-10/tweeter combo amp with a rugged non-carpet-covered exterior, great grill design, all packed into a 33lb package for easy toting..... and you have to question: What's the catch? I am here to tell you: THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!! I'll bet the prices go up on these guys soon. For under $600 shipped, you have EVERYTHING you'll ever need to play most gigs--and if you need something "more" than this, you are either deaf or need to tone down your volume. This is probably the greatest combo bass (and great keyboard) amp made, to date. You've got the punch and floor-shaking bass that twin 10s with 500 horsepower can produce, coupled with GK's fine reputation for building a quality product at a reasonable price. Plus this model offers an extension cabinet input if you are inclined to add more "bottom" via a 15" or a pair of 12" drivers.

There is no way you can go wrong purchasing this combo amp. It lacks nothing and the rugged construction is a pretty clear indicator that this thing will outlive me.
