Absolutely Phenomenal Instrument Nov 29, 2011

I still currently own both a Squire P-bass and a Mexican made P. Although those have been solid instruments in their own rights, this Made in America P is on a totally different level from those. Upon very close inspection, the quality of the materials used and the attention to detail on this MIA P-bass are absolutely 1st-rate.
Shipping was outstanding, the exterior packaging did what it's supposed to and the TSA-approved hard case that these instruments come in are very nice. Instrument also comes with a strap, tools, cleaning cloth, and some other odds & ends i.e. manual, bumper sticker etc.
The setup on this guitar seems to be outstanding straight from the factory. The action is the best I've ever played on.
I agonized for months whether or not to spend the extra money for an American Standard P-bass, but I can tell you after this thing arrived, after I went over it with a fine-tooth comb, and after having fiddled with it for a few hours (including direct side-by-side comparison with my other P's), I have zero regrets, none.
