Best Bass Ever Aug 20, 2011

My dad got this bass new in the ninety's, and I have become a bass player. This is hands down the best bass that I have ever played. It blowes the American Standard out of the water. It has incredible tones and feels incredible. When paired with a great tube amp it's unbeatable.
It looks incredible, and sounds even better. It feels like a fine instrument, wheras the American Standards feel cheap in comparison. The American standard is still a great instrument, but this is better. It ages extremely well, gaining little nicks amd scrapes, which makes it feel more vintage. The neck even turns that vinytage yellow color! I also love the look of the tunbing pegs, speaking of which, this stays in tune incredibly well. I almost never have to tune it.

Cons:
-Very beefy neck, it really makes you work and stretch
-need to remove the neck to adjust truss rod
Pros:
-sounds awesome
-looks awesome
-feels awesome
-is awesome
It also comes with a very nice tweed hardshell case, which not only protects it, but looks good too. I would buy just the case for a different instrument.
Overall, this is an unbeatable bass, and a must have. This is one of the only bass's I will ever play.
